Wooden Beam Face Portrait
Spotted this wooden beam in Perth, Australia and there was a piece of paint that has cracked leaving a different color there.
There are also four screw holes without the screws and two of them make up the eyes. Someone has obviously seen it’s potential as a face as a line has been added with a marker to signify a mouth.
I love to find art in different places and when I find them I do not add or subtract things from them. Everything is found as is without moving or rearranging of the elements.
I find it is a great way to train your eyes to see more and in the process discover more too. Love this face so natural with an expression of wonderment.
I am always searching for faces I like to call Artificial Faces because that’s what they are… not faces of people but things that look like faces.
Keep searching! ![]()
